Welcome Message

ESEM Annual Conference 2022 in Collaboration with Tanta University & Theodor Bilharz Research Institute Dear professors and colleagues, On behalf of the ESEM Board of Directors, we are pleased to invite you to attend the ESEM conference in 2022 with the collaboration of two prestigious scientific institutions, Tanta University and Theodor Bilharz Research Institute. It will be held online on October 11–12, 2022, as a result of the continuous impact of the COVID-19 pandemic health crisis. Although virtual events lack the opportunity to enjoy direct face-to-face networking, interacting with speakers or visiting the exhibition, we still believe that it will not be healthy or safe to hold a large-scale meeting in a closed conference room. In the meantime, with continued travel health restrictive measures, a virtual platform will enable the participation of many more attendees from different Egyptian governorates and foreign countries.  The organizing committee is already hard at work to offer a comprehensive range of sessions and workshops providing all participants with the new findings and the tremendous impact of electron microscopy in material and life sciences. Short videos demonstrating activities carried out in some renowned Egyptian universities and departments working in the field of electron microscopy will be displayed between sessions. The electron microscope suppliers will also present and demonstrate the new technologies implemented in their instruments. We are looking forward to welcoming you all to this event, and we wish you a fruitful and valuable time with the organized sessions. President of the Conference Conference General Secretary Prof.Soheir Mansy Prof. Naglaa Sarhan
