Newsletter 2025
Dear Colleagues,
As we welcome 2025, I send my warmest regards to you all and hope this newsletter finds you well and in good health. I am delighted to share the society's latest updates, achievements, and upcoming events. Last year, 2024 was a busy time focused on administrative tasks. We worked hard to finalize the legal documentation to acquire our society's unified registration number. Dr. Hoda Yehia apologized for being unable to continue as treasurer, and Dr. Ehab has since taken over the position. The change of this position from Prof. Hoda to Dr. Ehab took a lot of administrative procedures, between the bank and the Social Solidarity administration for Societies in Warraq. We sincerely thank Dr. Hoda for her dedication and look forward to working with Dr. Ehab.
This year, we aim to prioritize scientific activities and to engage electron microscopy centers in the society's activities and foster better cooperation. In addition, the Society will be hosting the Electron Microscopy Conference 2025 on October 13–14. This conference was originally expected to take place in 2024. However, due to the need to meet various regulatory requirements and inquiries addressed to the Society by the Social Solidarity administration, the conference has been rescheduled to 2025.
